The Donkey / Livid with Terror

“The donkey” and “Livid with terror” are works of art exhibition “Shoot him with flowers and other things” the painter Manuel Lima and represent violence against women, in which animals are presented as metaphors of irrationality sometimes prevailing.
In the frames that follow, the series convergence / divergence, we can see another way of dealing with violence using the tension created by the combination of forms, in which the power of chromatic painting is determined by the contrast thus created.
